Welcome to the boards! We hope you enjoy your stay.

Much as I sympathize with Benif due to the asinine laws of his country, I would advise AGAINST helping him obtain water guns containing CPS or equivalent technology. Nothing personal, dude, really, and I'm sure we probably have nothing to worry about, but I'd hate to think that someone in law enforcement is going fishing for international smuggling arrests. Entrapment of that type happens with startling frequency at gun shows and to FFL holders - when the law, however moronic, is in doubt, it's best to keep your head down.

Really Benif, nothing personal here, I'm just trying to keep people here out of trouble. May I suggest that you move to a freer country?

But importation is not prohibited.

I can only assume Benif is being honest regarding his belief on importation. I sort of wonder what happens if Benif were to buy some CPS soakers off of eBay.com and get them shipped to France. Is possession of a CPS-class soaker illegal or is merely selling by stores in France illegal? I'm not sure about that one. Adrian brings up a good point and something that should be clarified before anyone attempts to ship soakers to Benif. While we love helping fellow soakers, we still need to do so legally.

As for Benif's question on Buzz Bee Toys, see the Buzz Bee Toys website and look at the Water Warriors section. I believe in Europe they may be being distributed under a company called 'Carrera' (at least based on eBay.de pictures).

Side thought: to think people in North America complain about soaker downgrades when others are slapped with laws banning CPS-class soakers altogether. ...and some wonder why I have safety concerns. I just don't want to lose access to soakers!

Hold on. I've seen people from France bid on eBay soakers before. Last year I think someone from France won a new Monster XL and that arrived to him safely without any trouble. I'm just pointing this out. But again, it may have changed now.

Also, the Carrera Cool guns like you said are just Water Warriors guns just under a different name. You can see near the bottom of the box on some of them I saw on eBay.de that the Buzz Bee Toys logo is on it. :blazer:

Don't panic!!!!!:D I'll try to be clear about the law that i talk about. In france , we have lawes which protect consumers (Thief,...) and lawes which protects Salers (Responsability,...)

In france there is a kind of "toy association" which takes the decision about what it's good to sale and what is not good to sale in supermarkets. In france the question of responsability is important.

If the association decides to not sell a toy in the shops, it's to protect these shops of the responsability. if a user hurts someone, yhe user can go to the shop and tell: "Look, i've hurt the mother of my wife, it's your fault, because you authorize to selle that type of gun".
That's why the law is here to defend supermarkets.

The buyer who wants to have that kind of Watergun can have one, but he won't find it in the shops because of the reglementation of the association.

He just has to find it outside of france. He takes his own responsabilities if he hurts someone.

The law is not a State law. Waterguns are not considered as drugs or else :).

CPS 1500 hands down. it is well balanced, and the 10x blast is DEVASTATING.

The CPS 1500 has got to be one of my favourites too. The 10x nozzle I agree is devastating and looks and feels more like a 15-20x stream. Great for a battle.

I really like the 1500, but all around the 1000 is my favorite. No nozzles to break, powerful in a compact design. I like the 2000 and 2500s design, very intimidating and powerful.

hehe i just soaked my mom with my CPS 1500 on 10x from out my window. i could'nt hit her on account of it was really windy and my gun was not pumped up completely. i had to pump a lot cause 10x uses a lot of water. finally i hit her and just a few splashes are indeed devastating. :p

Can't remember if I already posted...

My favorite soaker is the CPS 2700 because of its large water capacity, good power, and good range.

Shield Blaster 3000 because it shoots 3 streams in 1 shot, it has a huge shield, and it's pretty easy to carry around.

I had two CPS 1000s, one for me and one for my sister. They are my favorites because they are light, powerful, and don't run out of water too quickly. Unfortunately, their performance was on the way down when the pump handle snapped clean in two. I have since preferred blasters with tracked handles.

CPS 1000 cause it's a lot of "stuff" packed into it. Small, lighter than other CPS guns, and well just looks nice. :cps1000:

CPS 2500. It has power, intimidation, range and has 3 nozzle settings to conserve water unlike CPS 2000.

SS300 for nostalgic reasons. Plus still a marvel with its 1.5 Litre Pressure tank capacity, 5X nozzle and 8 Litre backpack.

I agree with Freak, except that the Piranha, IMO, is better than the XP 310.
By the way, check out the Rules for my newly invented SoakFest-esque game in the Draft Soaker Rules thread. Input on all the games there is desired. So head on over and ctritique the rules as much as possible!

Better than the XP310? Heck, while the Piranha is a great soaker, I'm still a sucker for the XP310's styling and feel a little more (I never liked the restrictive space on the trigger grips that many of the newer soakers have. I prefer the good ol' open grips).

The Piranha undoubtedly has some advantages (most notably a CPS-type PC) and XP310s just aren't readily available anymore. However, I'd still pick the XP310 for my uses over the Piranha.

The Piranha has a huge advantage over the xp 310. Its range. also the piranhas shots have a bit more power to them. In some places it's cheaper then the xp310. I got my piranha in the middle of the summer and cost $10 can't beat that price.
