What's your favorite nozzle size? I was wondering if the majority of peeps here like drenching an opponent, or smaller, constant streams.

Second, the type of nozzle I would like to see is a sort of "smart nozzle", that is an iris with a pressure gauge, and a mechanism that closes the iris as the pressure gets lower. Like a 5x to 1x range of movement. Another nozzle I'd like to see is a 15x nozzle. How'd you manage that, Larami? You got 1x, 5x, 10x, and 20x, but where's 15x?

EDIT: Mods/Admins, If you can think of another nozzle that isn't on there, please add it.

I prefer options.. 3x-10x for stream use and a blast/fan nozzle when getting up-close-and-personal with my target(s). :goofy:

Went with a 5x, because, though eclipsed greatly by the higher level nozzles, those aren't really too necessary. You can still get someone pretty soaked with a good 5x nozzle. This smilie is a perfect example.

:bm1000:

EDIT: Major typo there, accidentally forgot the "n't" in aren't.

Went with 8.5x, because it's right between my two favorites, 5x and 10x. 10x's an all around great nozzle, nice mix of drenching power and range, and 5x is good for water conservation. And besides, I like small calibers, something that extends even to waterguns. :D

I like 10x. Greatest range, excellent output. As long as your aim is good, it's better than 5x.

I voted 8.5x because it is a nice balance between 10x and 5x. Quite soaking but doesn't drain your water too fast.

I voted 5X because my favorite nozzle is 4X and it's the closest to the 5X

The Aqua-Storm showerhead is always fun for a sneak-up-on. Your enemy will be bathing in the aftermath of that stream for weeks! :goofy:

I voted 8.5x. It's the perfect blend between 5x and 10x.

EDIT: Smiley testing.

I didn't vote. My current favorite nozzle size is 1/4" on my 2100. I haven't tested it for the x. As for a "standard/conventional" nozzle, I like somewhere between 5-15x. A nozzle in there gets the best range, and mixes conservation of water with soaking power.

I voted 8.5x because it isn't too weak or too powerful. A very good medium.

Considering there are so many CPS2000 lovers out there and how high they sell for, there are surprisingly few 20x votes. Odd...

^^^Not really that odd. The 2000 is an awesome, powerful soaker, but I don't think anyone would say it's the BEST soaker. You get few shots per charge, few charges per tank, only one nozzle...it's not very practical in reality. Fun, heck yeah. Practical, I don't think so. The 2500 on the other hand...best soaker out there IMO.

I can't really say what times I like best. On the CPS 2500 it's the 10X, on the CPS 1500 it's the 5X... the way I choose is through what gun I'm using. Whatever nozzle shoots the best is the one I use for that certain gun.

Edit: Whoops. I put 10X for the CPS 1500.

CPS 1500 will best CPS 2500 because its PC is larger and the pump is more powerful. The 2500 user will be pumping his tail off while the 1500 user is still soaking him to a watery pulp.

I like the 5X, but sometimes wish I got a 20x.

i like my 1500 because it has 5x and 10x, but i always end up using 5x more, because while not as powerful as 10x(with 10x the gun has a noticeable kickback), it still has a lot of soaking power while conserving water better than 10x.
