I noticed this on iSoaker.com.

I was thinking that it looked very similar to a flyswatter. Do you think that you could use a flyswatter as a WBL?

Why not just get a long skinny flat peice of metal and attach a bowl to it? Stick it on something and you've got a primitive catapult.

They look much more like LaCrosse sticks.
Flyswatters aren't strong enough to fling waterballoons, but with a LaCrosse stick, you could whip waterballoons at high speed with decent accuracy.

The problem is, if you try whipping a water balloon with a lot of force and it hits the side of the lacrosse stick's basket, the balloon might burst in the basket.

Waterballoons aren't that weak yang. Either way, you could just under-inflate them.

Instead of a Lacrosse stick, why not use a sling? Same concept, but a sling is designed for flinging projectiles at people, not other sticks.

There are water balloon launchers available that are basiclaly slings. All one has to do to get one is to go searching one at a store. Unfortunately, I've never seen one at a store, only on Aqua-Nexus and isoaker.

I prefer the waterballoon launchers that are just a stretchy cord with a pocket. They have reasonable power, and they're much easier to use than PVC waterballoon launchers.
