Just a few questions
Hi there, i'm pretty new and I have a few questions.
1. What does cps stand for?
2. WHen was the cps line first released?
3. Can only max infusion guns use the aquapacks or will my green flash flood work?
4. What would be a good gun for me to get, a good started gun? Wild boys says an xp 310, i'd like to know your opinion.
Thanks in advance.

CPS stands for "constant pressure system" because there is a latex bladder inside the gun that pushes water out of it when you pull that trigger. Unless you do some modding the aqua packs will not supply water for your green (Max Infusion) Flash Flood, only Max Infusion.

The CPS line was introduced back in 1996 with the release of the CPS2000.
As for what to get, there are a variety of decent stock blasters out there. Soakers like the MI:Flash Flood, WW Blazer, WW Piranha, and WW Scorpion (if you can find) are pretty good choices. I do like the Super Soaker Defender, too, though it's definitely on the smaller side. IF you can find the XP310 or MaxD6000, those are decent stock soakers as well. Avoid the MI: Arctic Shock, IMO, as it does not perform as well as it should for a soaker of its size. The MI: Overload is ok, but given the availability of Flash Floods, the MI: FF is a much better option.

In my opinion, the Max-D 6000 is a better gun than the XP 310--but only because the stream is much cleaner. Also, it's easier to find MD6Ks since they're more recent, although somebody recently found a site that supplied XP 310s. iSoaker's suggestions are good, and you can also check out this year's Water Warriors Pre Charger line.
They sell both Max D 6000's and XP 310's. They have new colors and are sold in STE packages.

I really don't like Max-D 6000's. Only because I can only fit about 3 fingers on there. If you have regular ones available, who cares if they're STE or not?
