^Dude... it's because there are no NEW CPS guns. Just releasing the same bloody one over and over does not a CPS line make. And truth be told, the 4100 isn't that great to begin with. There are much, much better models they could be re-releasing, but for whatever reason, it seems they'd rather just keep rehashing the 4100 for the forseeable future.

Jeez, only post Numbah' 2 for me here, You'd think I would post more.
Anyway, I don't think I'd mind if they came out with some "new" line of SS guns that had CPS Technology, but under a different name.
And, while on the topic of less "threatening" guns, They would release they're next guns with names like "The Happy Blaster" and, "The Fuzzy Puppy Gun", just to make parents feel "Safe" about they're kids using it. And some parents know how CPS guns work, and they say "Too Dangerous."

The CPS 2100 is a better all around soaker to have than the 4100 because of its durability and similarity to the trusty 1000/1200. Unfortunately, it dosen't seem to have been rereleased wwith Soakertags and is only available as an overstock. Hopefully it will be rereleased or Hasbro will no longer have soakers of that class.

I got one for 14 bucks. Trigger seems fine to me. A lot of people complain about it breaking
I was like that when my 4100 was new and the trigger seemed fine. Believe me, if it's an mk2 4100 and the trigger isn't reinforced, it's probably going to break.

I once got a broken trigger on my CPS2000. The funny bit was that I opened it up to pull the metal rod that conencts the trigger to the valve at the front, and it let out a huge streamer of water onto the wall of my kitchen(luckily it was tiled) and it came off the wall and drenched my dad. We bot hended up pissing ourselves laughing, it was so funny to see his face.
