Simple evolution of technology man, cuz greater relience on technology always yields better results... like the EES serious.
Speaking of technology though, I have thought of programming a sprinkler type of anti personel defense system. It wouldn't be too difficult, make a program to detect motion, the system automatically orients the nozzle towards the motion and fires until motion is no longer detected. I read about a man who did something like this as a prank on people who walked into his yard. It'd be pretty awesome, but at the same time I think it would only be fun in certain types of battles, and annoying in others.
