Oh man, you stole my idea! Oh well, it was hilarious though. It's probably better than what I would have made (Hadn't made it yet.).

We've been having lots of storms around here too. We even had some small tornados that blew out the power for almost 3 days.

@SEAL: as you know, coming up with ideas for comic strips isn't always easy. With multiple people making more of them, there's bound to be some overlap/partial duplication at some point. I'd say if you wish, still go for creating your version as you had originally envisioned it. As for loss of power for almost 3 days, that doesn't sound like fun at all; least no one close got hurt, right?
