I'll be looking into that. Will search up some actual shield patches for reference too.

Meant to chime in earlier. I love the design so far, but I agree with iSoaker; make a rectangle above the shield. Also, I think the WWn droplet logo should be blue. Otherwise, it's great.

Speaking of this, whatever became of my "Thunder Gulch" patch? I still think it would be cool if we gave that to Downpour 2011 participants. We should finish this first of course, but I don't want to forget the other one.

Dang, I go away for the weekend and look what happens! Sweet looking patch, not really much of a graphic designer myself (which is why I haven't gotten text on the LEGO WW comic I made yet), but that must have taken some work. I've general been more a pencil and paper kind of guy, though I can't draw people at all. How would people feel about a '64 Impala with a WWN bumper sticker as the logo, lol! :P

Very nice, I definitely like the last one best. Would be interesting to see what the last one would look like with black lettering, but I'm also cool with it as is.

CA99's designs look great, but I'm going to throw a couple of adjustment ideas into the mix (based on the original designs).

I think the word "League" should be black, and the bar on top should be blue with black text. I like the droplet logo all by itself, without a blue background.

I also think the blues (not counting the blue that the figure on the left is shaded.) should be the same shade as the WaterWar.net logo at the top of this page. The shade you have now is almost gray.

I like league in black as well, and I like the blue bar at the top, but I like white text in that. I'm going to bed now, it's about 2am here, but everyone please give us your opinions so we can come to a decision soon.

iSoaker's 1st one (lpWhite.png) with the white text and top+bottom shading is my favorite. I agree that it would be better with the forum logo color, if possible with that texture as well.

Sooo... How did this die? I'd sure like to have one of these patches to go along with the Red Scorpion patch that M4 gave me. I want to get a patch for my team, but I still have to think of a good design.

Because only 3 of us commented after the finished options were posted.

*bump*

We need other people's opinions too.

*BUMP*

So far only DX, SEAL, and myself have stated our opinions as to which patch we like. CA99 and iSoaker, you submitted a few. Which do you like most? Scott, and Belisaurius, you come to the community wars, which do you like? Everyone else, please state your opinion. We need your input too. This is YOUR league.

I like isoakers, except that I agree that league should be black, and the droplet should be blue with no different background or section.

I'd also go with isoaker's no.1. Not quite sure if I prefer the LEAGUE text in black or white at the minute. If it's black it stands out more, but you lose the outlines, and it looks like the leg lines have gaps in them, rather than. If it's white, you get the outlines, but the word LEAGUE just doesn't stand out. On balance I think the word LEAGUE looks better in black.

White text in the top bar.

I made a patch based off of the recommendations that everyone made. I don't think it's transparent anymore, but it just serves as an example. We should either go with this one, because it is a mix of changes recommended, or iSoaker #1 because it has the most favorable comments. Let me know what you think.

I like this one a lot. Two thoughts, though.
- for sake of reducing printing costs, all the blues used in the patch should be the same. This also would help unify the look on things.
- I still think a black line above the WWn droplet logo and the base of the people would help

Otherwise, nicely done!
