Lost the Hit Tests threads during the migration (or, more accurately, the Hit Test threads were not migrated from iSoaker.net).
Here's the original hit test. Any last calls on which circled areas should be considered a hit?

Once you're done with your hit calls, take a look at the pic below which notes that actual amounts of water applied to create the various-sized splotches. Volumes are noted at the bottom of the picture.

Yup, those numbers surprised me as well regarding how much water it actually takes to make a good-sized splotch, especially on a darker-coloured shirt.

I've played with squirt pistols in my backyard, so those numbers don't really surprise me. Really, i guess this means if you feel water, you've been hit.

I've generally done it by feel more then holding my fist up to it. I can't really picture 15ml of water, but just from the size of those splotches, that's a tap shot from my Vindicators 0.5x!

That's pretty cool. It's a good reference to have concerning the amount of water put out and soakage generated.

My friends and I tried the "quarter size" rule, like with paintball, but that didn't last but a day or 2. Ever since, we've defined hits as when the direct stream hits you.

I'd unquestionably count them all as hits. We play by feel though, so we never have to analyze splotches on our shirts in the middle of a battle. :goofy:
