Mod concept thread

Post by the oncoming storm » Tue Oct 01, 2013 9:29 am

A thread to post concepts for new mods/custom weapons

First concept anti mist, insert a rubber ball (make sure it floats) in an APH chamber and as the water level drops the ball will cover the opening to keep pressurized air in.
If you ever bother reading these, I worry for your mental sanity. :oo:

? If your APH is designed ok, air is the last thing that exits. AKA, if you get that far in the shot, you're already well into the useless part of the dropoff phase and shouldn't still be on the trigger...

The ball may also block off some water too, although I still think it's an idea that may be worth exploring.

I think that is a good idea, for the right person. If your air-water ratio in your PC is high, then this would work fairly well. You would have to pre-charge the PC with air first.
The downside is, you won't be getting as much volume of water out of a full PC. Most AP designs have a low air-water ratio, with something like 2/3 water 1/3 air (2:1 water:air).
