As many of you know (actually, I don't think you do) I have the entire '07 Aquashock SS Line. I just got the Secret Strike today. This is as simple as it gets. I wouldn't even consider it a modification. All I did was get screwdrivers, pliers, and scissors and making the fan blast into a huge hole, even bigger than the wide blast nozzle. Its blast time is only about 1-2 seconds long and its range is about 1-2 feet long. This "mod" would probably be able to drench someone's entire upper body and maybe even a bit of their lower body. I'm wide open to suggestions, so please tell me the pros and cons.

well, if the range is only about 2 feet i dont know if it would be worth it, but anything to improve the blaster is always a good idea.
more reliable then a max-D trigger

Sorry, I made a mistake. I just measured it earlier and the ranges were about 10 feet or so, and the shot time was as short as the FF's riot blast.

Thats still pretty short, but compaired to the power the secret strike has, thats not that bad.

So does the Secret Strike have a separate PC, or is it PR? It looks PR from the outside, but from what I've been told, the Overload has a separate chamber, which the secret strike is almost a remake of.

Both Max-D Secret Strike and AquaShock Secret Strike have seperate PC's. (thought the one on the MDSS behaves weird, using PR, but transfers to a sep. PC)

Sorry for the mixup, but I was talking about the 2007 Aquashock Secret Strike, not the MAX-D Secret Strike.

@hydroblitz, can you test if it is separate pc or pressurized reservoir? (pump the blaster, open the cap, and see if you can still shoot)

Yeah, I knew you were, I just wrote about the Max-D Secret Strike for reference.

No need to test, you can tell it's Sep. reservoir when it's Max-I compatible and looks virtually identical to the Overload.

D'oh! I totally forgot about the fact that if you somehow managed to use a gun with PR with a Max-I, you'd have to pressurize the backpack. (That, or have a real check valve restricting air flow into the backpack) Silly me.

Anyway, the Max-I system backpacks are soft? So they draw water into the reservoirs by the negative pressure in the main reservoir built by pumping? Interesting..
