You Call That a SC 400?

Now Look at these from isoaker:

Obviously something with the sticker slapped on!

To me, the closest thing it looks like is a XXP 175, but not really.

It's a XP90 Pulse Fire with its nozzle sawed off and its reservoir swapped with an SC400's reservoir.

Well, That's just plain odd. I'm wondering if the guy actually bought the "Super Charger 400" New In Box like that ( :goofy: ), or did he deliberately do that?

Weird.

Haha. I'm surprised to see this here, I'm the bidder on that hoping to fix the lot and get my team some blasters.

Yeah, I saw that lot last week and was like "What the heck is that... that can't be an SC400" and I thought it looked rather XP-like, took me a minute on isoaker to find the pulse fire. I've always wondered what the compatibilty between super soakers is like. Can you put an XP 105 reservoir into an XP150, or an XP65 into an SS100?
I wish there was a powerful xp with a screw-off PC like the SS100.... Easiest mod ever! If I ever find another large bottle, I may replace the small one on the 100 for lols.
I found an SS 100 a few days ago for 3$, and I turned it down because of it's generally poor condition and it's non-working status. When you pumped the pump would stagger, almost vibrate, like slip-stop-slip-stop-slip-stop in under a second. Weird. I imagine the pump head was messed up. Oh well. It's likely someone else's problem now. If I see it again, should I buy it? I already have a nice working one...
Also in "attack of the non-working blasters to purchase", I bought an XP 110 with a broken trigger valve for 3$. I put my finger over it and pumped like mad. It held pressure fine that way, and the gauge even moved, except that the gauge won't go below 1/4 full, making it not very useful. I will scrap it and take it's lovely tethered reservoir cap! Muahahaha!

Hey if you scrap that 110 soakinader I'm willing to take the rest of it haha. My XP 100 sucks and I need the firing valve (so probably the whole pipe)

Edit- Won this

yah, the only bidder. Only you have use for those at the moment. Off topic, but i'm wondering why you no likey ball valves? because of the uncomfortable firing method? I could fix that.

I dislike the feeling, and that I feel adding a ball valve to an existing blaster seems odd, considering the torque used to open a ball valve could be too much for the blaster to handle. Also I feel a pin valve is more powerful and direct

hmmm.... I think ball valves are more effective, yet they are odd. It doesn't exactly have to be on an existing blaster, homemades, too. I could make triggers; the XP 250's trigger method is simple, yet effective, with the torque being a gear connected to the lever. from there you can make a standard trigger, too.

But it opens from a more centered point on a pull valve, being more direct

eh, it's fine on the 250, and it's used in the 300 too, i just think it's a small price for better overall performance.

So do you really think I should put a ball valve on the 110? What size?

Well, i'm not exactly saying the 110, but if you are going to fix it, if you want to. I think something like a ball valve on a relatively average powered blaster would be odd, yet interesting. I'd suggest it if you're doing a major power mod, but get it fixed first

Well, I may mod the crud out of the "SC 400" from this. The nozzle probably has to be replaced so I may PVC threading it and then have a few nozzles.
