Looking fro a Tiger Shark
Hello. I am looking to buy a WW Tiger Shark. Somehwere between $20-$30 is my limit, and that includes shipping. Must be in excellent cosmetic and functioning order. The recolored 2008 edition is prefered. PayPal only.

Have you looked on eBay? Anyway, there are sure to be members with them why do you want that over a similarly sized CPS? Is it price? You could try buying a broken CPS for cheap, and then fix it. There are so many possiblities.

Re: Looking fro a Tiger Shark
Small scale CPS's are not enough bang for the buck, escpecially during the summer. The Tiger Shark is most similar to, say, the 1000, 1200, and 2100. The 1000 only shoots slightly farther than my neighbors Vanquisher, but the 1000 consumes resources MUCH faster, has less resovoir capacity, needs pumping more often, and is more likely to need repair as the 1200 and 1000 are fragile guns. My 1000 also has a nasty habit of leaking. The 1200 and the 2100 are supposed to have even LESS range. Overall, I am going to completly avoid small scale CPS unless it is a ridiculosly low price or a 2100, purely for modding potential since it is a sturdy blaster. I will probably go hunting for large scale CPS this winter, however, but I should own a Tiger Shark by then. Super Soaker prices are so high during this time of year I don't even bother going to eBay for water guns. Also, WW tends to have lots of so called "sleepers." My Renegade is perfectly capable of destroying a CPS 1000.

You could go for a Gorgon if you can't find a Tiger Shark. Not too much larger, but has the best range among WW guns and destroys the smaller CPS guns. it's why I've kept my Blorca, it performs better than any 1000/1200/2100 and with newer rubber.

I am buying a Gorgon this fall, since they will be dirt cheap, along with a Tiger Shark.
Re: Looking fro a Tiger Shark
Just remember, though, that the new Gorgon is air pressure now due to the injunction against Buzz Bee Toys. No rubber chamber there.DX wrote:You could go for a Gorgon if you can't find a Tiger Shark. That said, the air pressure version compares well (not quite as strong at its largest nozzle setting) compared to the Hydro Power version.

Re: Looking fro a Tiger Shark
The Tiger Shark isn't anywhere near the 1000/1200/2100, it's far closer to the MD6k in performance with the MD6k performing slightly better in general. The WW Sphynx should have similar performance, but that's only judging on the outside as I've never used one.
Maybe my perception of the 1000/1200/2100 has been warped by k-modding, but my 2100 is still stock and performs considerably better than, say, the Vindicator.

Re: Looking fro a Tiger Shark
From my own experience this could not be farther from the truth. The Tiger Shark is a CPS-class gun and handles like it. The rubber diaphragm may not be as powerful as a true CPS spherical chamber, but it is certainly not comparable to the the air pressure chambers of a MD 6000. The Tiger Shark pushes out a thick and powerful stream, and on the largest nozzle setting feels very much like a CPS 1000. What it lacks in range, it more than makes up for in durability and (I would guess) cost.CA99 wrote:The Tiger Shark isn't anywhere near the 1000/1200/2100, it's far closer to the MD6k in performance with the MD6k performing slightly better in general.
Of course if you can find a CPS 1000, 1200, or 2100 for the same price, you would do well to buy it.

Re: Looking fro a Tiger Shark
Looks like I have a different Tiger Shark than you have; the large nozzle is a far cry from the 2100 I have, short by at least about 3-5ft and with far less stream velocity. The 6k on the other hand, performs nicely, you just need to pre-pressurize it which is obviously a need for any AP blaster. Durability is actually on the higher end for a BBT blaster, but the trigger does get stuck sometimes if you don't use it for a while or keep the ball valve lubed. Most of the medium-small CPS's never have problems except for one of the 2100's. Grip is also not so nicely designed; the flattening that rests on top of your firing hand is very uncomfortable. That said, the Tiger Shark is definitely still one of the better blasters around; great for runners who need something slightly more compact and is quite effective on the smaller nozzles.

I will also TRADE for a TIger Shark. I will give you any of the Nerf or water blasters listed on my profile as "for sale." I will only trade with prominent members I can trust.
Re: Looking fro a Tiger Shark
Yes I'd like to trade a Tiger Shark for a Splashfire. Lol. Anyway, the 1000 seems like a good deal there.
