I've actually been watching this guy's listings over the last few days, and it started at a very good price. (Around $20 or $30 if I recall correctly.) Just comes to show that it's always best to start low to create a bidding war.

It actually started at 0.99, and I was ging to buy it. Hope this person enjoys shelling out $181 for a CPS 1700. That thing better not be broken... :goofy:

Ah yeah, I forgot, all of his listings started at $0.99. Somebody won a Liquidator for $0.99 and $4.99 shipping. Should've got it myself but I was feeling quite lazy.

Wow, that's crazy! The saddest part is that these guns are very likely to break due to their age. Of course, I would be surprised if someone who pays that much for a Super Soaker is actually thinking about taking it out and using it.

I've never understood the mentality of collectors, but I suppose to each his/her own...

During winter, I saw a CPS 1500 go for six bucks. Buy stuff then.

What a deal! I wish I would've started eBay hunting a lot sooner.

Same gun is up for sale, but starting bid is $50 instead of .99.

o well...people sometimes get very crazy! One time they bid 10 Dollars, the next time they are willing to pay over 200...you never know!

The most crazy thing I watched was a CPS Monster XL with its QFD mark 2(monster XL QFD), this really made me say nothing for more than 5 minutes....

Have a guess, how much do you think the most crazy guy bid on a Monster Xl with QFD ? I will solve up tomorow ;)

:goofy: Hey, I may be a very crazy guy and I built up a tremendous collection in minimum of time(took me not even one year ^^) but this does not mean that I was spending money without a brain ;D The guns all had a great price, but therefore I had to put in much time and nerves ;D

oooookkk, here it is, the most expensiv CPS Monster XL ever on ebay(I think so, not 100% sure)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... INDXX%3AIT

I do not have the vaguest notion of how someone can spend so much money for this gun! Also NOTE: THere have to be two crazy guys, since it was an auction^^

O well...I cannot stop, shacking my head^^ :goofy:

Well, the filling is relatively easy just like any small CPS cannon. Fairly sturdy build and no major leaks. The pumping is very easy and smooth. Not as durable as a trackmounted pump, but then again trackmounted pumps are less smooth when pumping.

Performance is where it shines. I remember when I sold CPS 1200s on ebay 2004, I mentioned that it is more powerfull than a CPS 2100, and other sellers(who sold CPS 2100s) where calling me a liar since that somewhat ruined their claim of their item being the most powerfull soaker on ebay. Well, I wasn't lieing, and it is a very likely fact. The first second of output of the CPS 1200 in this review got around 275 ml. Thats 9.1X. Obviously, not every second will have 9X output, since the PC would have to be around 800 ml large. So the output would whine down to the end around 7X-5.5X at the last second. To show that I am not bull-EESting you, I even made a litle domo clip of the 1 econd output. Which shows that a CPS stream might not be so constant with output than usualy believed.
