Buying CPS line of SSes
I'm new here (and to soaking) and my soaker collection isn't something to boast about just yet...I'm looking for the following to help me get started with my collection:
CPS 1000
CPS 1500
CPS 2100
CPS 2000 (if sold very cheaply...I've seen how expensive they are)
CPS 2700
If you have any of these, please let me know. (By the way, I'm probably not going to buy more than two of these at a time...I'm focusing on getting the most from a little amount of money)
EDIT: What I'm looking for is: a sniper (1000 or 2000) or a primary soaker (1500 or 2100 or 2700). Since the 1000 and the 1500 are similar, I don't want to buy them together. Also, I'm pretty much putting them in the REVERSE order of which ones I would like the most (2000 and 2700 are my goals although any of them would be very good.)
SECOND EDIT: I also (fairly obviously) don't want two soakers from the same category, if you have two.

I tried eBay...my parents don't like using it a lot, due to all the fake items and scammers. I'm very new to serious water warfare, so I'm afraid I'll fall for one of them too...usually the pictures only differ in one miniscule detail (like a different reservoir cap or something), so it's kind of hard to tell.

Yeah, If I were you I would seriously use eBay as its the only place to get the old guns you want. I use it and I am continuing to get a lot of the old soakers I want. Even though there are some people who are willing to sell their old soakers, there are not very many. You could also try yard sales where somebody may sell an old soaker for cheap.
Also, prices on eBay are up and down at the moment, and CPS 2000's are at pretty good prices at the moment. I just won an Mk1 for £33.50 which is about $60. Some may not find it cheap but I was expecting the price to go higher when I bidded on it.
About a day or two ago a CPS 2000 Mk2 went for $66 which is pretty good compared to how much they were going for a bit ago which was around $80-100+.
Things aren't going for as much on eBay at the moment though. So I suggest you try to persuade. :p

For the 2700, how about this auction? Looks real to me, although I guess you should have someone good at finding that stuff check it.:;):

You can trust anything from that seller to be genuine if it says so. :;):
