Want to Trade: 2000-01 Monster XL

Post by Aqua_Flash » Fri Feb 22, 2008 12:33 pm

I have a 2000-01 edition Monster XL for a possible trade if anyone is interested.

Image

It is in nice condition, a few markings and scratches with the stickers a little torn, but looks good. It works like new, and was only used a few times by the previous owner. The quick fill nozzle leaks very slightly (barely noticable) but doesn't affect performance.

Soakers I am looking for: CPS 1000, 1200, 1500/1700, 2100 (Please don't get the idea I want all of these in one trade, whatever is fair really)

If interested and you have any of these, the let me know and we'll try to work something out. If your not then please don't post and ask me to sell it for cash, I won't do that.

If worst comes to the worst I will be putting this up on eBay in the Summer instead.

Thanks.

I have a 1000 and a 2100 that I don't need so much, if you'd like to swap those for the XL, I'd consider that. I don't think that would be enough however. It's up to you, just putting it out there. Not sure what your goals are.

How about the 1000, 2100 and some cash with it? I'd consider that enough for me and fair hopefully.

I've done things like this lots of times before when it comes to shipping to the USA, and I still do, buying from or selling to, so I am aware of costs.

I have another Monster XL arriving soon, although I'm unsure what to do with that yet.

Ok, after some thinking of what soakers would be best for me, I'm going to change things slightly. I'm a picky person, and I need to think things out properly, I'd preferably like to have my armoury fully ready for once before Summer starts here without fiddling through what to buy like I have done previously (that'd be a first). Since I can modify better now I want to have a go at Collosus as well.

So, the list of guns for trade.

Monster XL (2) - One is not here yet
NIB Splashzooka (Not fully certain on whether to trade this yet, although I don't really need it, depends if I get an offer I like if any)

What soakers I want:

CPS 1500/1700, 2100, 4100, Monster (2001), Monster X, QFD's (Monster & Normal)

If anyone wants pictures of the NIB Splashzooka and the other XL when I receive it (not sure when, but soon), I'll provide them.

Thanks.

Sorry about more change, but since I want to get rid quite soon, I'm considering selling for cash, I could always use the cash to buy the soakers I want anyway off eBay. However trades are still acceptable.

At present the XL's are for sale (one hasn't arrived yet remember), and I'm still undecided on the Splashzooka.

I have prices I'd want to sell them for, although I'm open to offers. This will benefit UK people more (if any are intrerested) due to the shipping cost that will most likely put off the overseas buyers.

Monsters probably would have retailed for a bit more than £40 in the UK. I know Monster X's are about £50 in shops if you see one in the UK from past experience. I've also bought a new Monster X off eBay a bit ago and it came to around the same with postage to how much it'd be in shops here.

I'm located in England, pretty much in the middle of the UK, I'm not disclosing anymore information of where I live on this board, that's what PM'ing and all that is for.

After some more thought, my new in box CPS Splashzooka 65oz is now up for sale/trade. It is just a soaker that since it is not my style, I just won't get any use out of it in the future. It is a good little gun however, able to take on all the new rubbish out now due to its incredibly long shot time with juicy and stinging stream.

Pictures.

It fills from a device which is connected to the hose. The hose pressure fills and pressurises the soaker and then you fire until it runs out. No pumping required, although you can fill it from the hose only.

There are reviews of it to give you a better idea also.

I'm afraid to say, but I've done some more thinking and have decided to keep the Splashzooka. Very sorry. It might not be useful to me at the moment, but I feel that for the long term it could be handy one day, even though I said it won't, I just get the feeling that if I sold it then I'd live to regret it later on, there's just something about the gun which I don't know that lures me to keeping it.

The Monster XL's will still be for sale, I definately don't plan on keeping those. So they are still up for sale/trade (see trade list).
