Hi. I'm back. Little older, and a rekindled desire for building homemades. So I am going to propose a project to a superior in my youth group. It involves building cheap, effective, relatively easy to use water guns that are low maintenance. For this project I have settled on building the Aph style. However if this project is feasible at all I need to cut down on costs as much as possible. So I want to build check valves similar to this:

I am not too concerned about finding the pvc or spring (maybe to find the right size). But the rubber piece. I tried doing a Google search for it but I just get pesto valves and schrader valves instead. Anyone know what he is talking about, maybe has a link or something to one or something similar?
It's good to be back.

Re: Homemade check valves
Sweet! Thanks.
If this project gets off the ground I'll post updates.
