I wonder if this would work for some sort of cannon pump or even for a larger blaster.

Interesting. It's not clear to me which end water leaves from. If it's the top them I'm not sure this would be so good as a piston pumper. If it's the bottom then it might be pretty decent. Likely the piston is too wide to be useful as a pump for a pressurized blaster. It would be too hard to pump to higher pressures.

I've used many of those, the water comes out of the top
