I was just looking at the old site for this forum and found this:

I'm sorry that I do not know anything more about this project, SSC closed months before I joined WWN and I never spent much time in the archives.

That is so cool. I mean, I could build one for around 150$ or so. Which is freaking expensive (42$ + for each 2 gallon tank!), but that is so cool.
I wanted to make one when I saw this two years ago, but I never could find the expansion tanks.
