Looking for some members knowledgable in building/modifying

Post by isoaker » Sat Apr 30, 2011 8:38 am

I'm looking for 2 to 3 members who know their stuff about building homemade water blasters and/or modifying water blasters, can explain things well, and would be willing to help out with a little project for here.

If you know your stuff and can spare a little time, let me know by replying to this thread; Help with this project idea would be greatly appreciated!

I've built a few homemades, and I'm pretty good with mechanics, so I'm willing to help out. I think I can spare some time. Just let me know what needs doing.

Cool! Will see if there may be any other members who'd be willing to help. This is a subject I understand in theory, but lack a lot of practical experience with. While SSC has a lot of great info on both homemade building and modifying water blasters, I've got some questions and thoughts on things that I'd like to develop for the community.

More info to come in a few days to those willing to participate.

Depends on the specifics. I've done K's, homemades, WBLs, and the such, but it's mostly for fighting with. I know the minimum about theory and mechs that is required to actually perform tech...it's not that great of an interest outside the context of making something to do battle with.

I'm no guru to this (meaning that I don't know the slightest thing on fluid mechanics and have never invented a practical homemade), but let me know what you need help with and I can weigh in with my own experiences with repairs, modding, and homemades.

Cool!

No worries about knowledge limitations as everyone who has replied still has a heck-of-a-lot more experience at building and modifying than I. Anyhow, the project I'm thinking of should be manageable for this group. I'll leave this volunteering thread open a couple more days before closing it down and getting into details with those who expressed interest in helping.

I definitely do really appreciate the offers to help with these things!

I would like to help, but I don't have a lot of experience. I have been looking into building some stuff, and I have posted a lot of ideas, but I never actually got around to building them.

I'm good at homemades and modifications. I've been doing it for years.
