Super Soaker 50 Joint

Post by virtualet » Fri Jul 08, 2016 9:49 am

Hi

I have an old school SS 50 and after opening up the gun, there is a broken joint that's between the pump action and the opening into the reservoir. I assume simply super glueing this together won't suffice so wanted to see what my options were to make this thing work again. Any thoughts?

You could try some epoxy putty. That should do it.

Hi, welcome to the board. I use something called JB Water Weld for stuff like this. It's a kind of epoxy putty, like TheSoaker mentioned. It's very strong and it holds pressure. Just don't put too much on or else the casing won't go together properly.
