Cps 3000 yellowing

Post by Dinosaur » Sun Sep 28, 2014 4:03 pm

Got this 3000 of a friend in Israel. Its great, except for one thing. While only a cosmetic issue, it bothers me that my cps 3000 doesn't look the best, as one entire side has sun damage so has anyone here found a easy way to de- yellow their blaster? :D

Dukesoakem, took one of his 1500's apart and repainted it in stock colors because of yellowing, its the only known solution.
If you ever bother reading these, I worry for your mental sanity. :oo:

I'll probably leave it the way it is then, don't want to ruin it any further, but does anyone know the name of the colour (or is it just plain grey)or a similar paint used on the cps 3000? as my knowledge of colours isn't great if you know what I mean.

My first CPS 3000 is sun-faded as well. Dukesoakem used some kind of grey vinyl dye on both halves of the shell, made it look like new again.

I would do this if I had to take apart a gun anyways, and happened to have the vinyl dye lying around.
