XP 85 Rupture

Post by DX » Sun Jun 16, 2013 8:28 pm

So, I went to test my XP 85 today and it broke. I pumped it up and the PRV (does it have one?) did not engage, so the reservoir ruptured in my face. I got completely soaked, but at least there was no shrapnel. Now, there is a crack about halfway around the reservoir and a gap where it failed. Anyone ever had this problem?

It's like an XP 95 in design, I'm not surprised it exploded. You really can't be too careful when pumping some guns.

well that happened with my first air pressure potato cannon due to a bad glue joint but not with any of my soakers. Yeah you gotta be careful when using the really old soakers.
