Post by TheSoaker » Fri Dec 23, 2011 11:02 am

Ok so I have a super shooter 2000 that has a leak in the valve casing where the metal rod that is pulled to open the valve. Is it possible to fix?

Wait, a Super Shooter 2000 is basically a CPS 1000 with different lables/colors, right?

The leak is around the firing pin? That must mean that something's wrong with the seal or whatever is making sure that water doesn't get out past the firing pin (That's the best way I can explain it, sorry.). I'm not entirely sure how you fix that; as far I know, nobody's experienced that problem before. I think you'd probably have to do some serious sawing to get at the seal.

Pictures may help.

Or unscrewing, if it isn't glued.

Good luck. Pictures would help.

It exploded? Why were you using the broken gun?

Oh yeah, pics or it didn't happen.

It is still a good gun.

If you got a Ferrari for a buck, then it got stolen, would you be like, "Whatever, I only paid a dollar."

Never heard of a valve casing exploding before... In fact, now that I think about it, I don't see how that's even possible. You'd have to have tremendously high pressure, which would probably blow everything else up too.

It is the same deal on a small scale.

What did the previous owner do, practice whittling on the valve? But I hold to my former statement, pics or it didn't happen.
