CPS 3000 gun doesn't hold pressure

Post by maurice_schouten » Sat Jul 16, 2011 6:24 pm

Already after one pump the cps 3000 blaster releases its water. It's impossible to pressurise the pc. I didn't open it yet. Any tips where to start?

The rubber band mod is almost certainly what you should do. It's a really simple mod, and afterwards it will never happen again. Good luck. :)

Well, the rubber band - repair is a quick repair but will not last for a long period of time, may a summer long. Rubber outworns and dries out quite fast and then it snappes.

Best thing you can do is to open the gun's internal chamber, replace the snapped or very weak spring and put all together. THis will fix it as long as the original spring held, so about 10 years, haha :)

This would be a job for winter season, when no real soak-battle can be made^^ I do not use "rubber-band-repair", I always replace the spring and get it working for some years again. Opening the chamber is a little more work(some more screws...) but will fix the problem, if you use rubber band, you will have to open it again sometime soon...

Everybody it's thing, :) Apart this rubber band is a good thing to repair quickly and well^^ :)

Gun works again. Thx for the perfect solution. It was the small rubber ring inside that had come loose.
