How is the pump broken off? Is the pump rod pulled from the water gun? Is the pump rod snapped or cracked? We'll need details to help you, not just "my pump broke." Once we get details, I am sure we will give you the correct repair.

I second Doom/Ben's post. A little more information on how the part broke would let us give much better recommendations on what to do.

That said, if something like what occurred to my CPS1500's pump happened, check out this CPS1500 pump repair page. I ended up just using a good amount of epoxy to hold the rubber washer sections together as the plastic part that snapped off could not be rescued properly. However, I fear that my simple repair job would not hold up to rigorous pumping.

Then again, it really depends what happened to your pump.

If the rod, itself, snapped, was the break clean or jagged? Do you think the two pieces can be easily fit back together and glued? You may also be able to reinforce the connection using some thin metal wire. Depends how the break looks, where on the pump rod the break occurred, and how well the pieces fit.

I've repaired snapped pumps before. This was one repair I intend to include in my website's new repair center.

My fix involved epoxying a thin brass pipe over the affected area and also reinforcing the center of the pump with a dowel rod. This pump will not break again if you don't treat it poorly. If you require images to perform this repair, I can find them, but be aware that it'll take me a time to find images for a repair that I did last year. Very straightforward repair.

If all else fails, you can attempt to melt the pieces of plastic together...I won't go into that unless you are REALLY having trouble.
