sidearms, secondaries, and back ups
sidearms, secondaries, and back ups
I'm in need of a good sidearm for my cps 1200. I'm considering the xp 270, max-d 6000, and the xp 310 right now. I want it to be around that size. what do you guys recommend? Also how should i carry it? Also i have a qfd available but no gun to use so I might want somthin sc capable. i had two sc 400 but they are both broken and all screws are stripped so I cant open i thought those would be good bummer. thanks please respond soon!

I'd recommend the Max-D 2000 or 3000 as those are the most powerful for their size. To carry it, you can use something like this: http://www.isoaker.net/isnet/Wiki/index ... Belt_Clips
If you want to repair the SC 400's, it'll take quite some work but is possible nonetheless. You will have to try using a flathead screwdriver to get the screws out, or you'll have to drill their heads out. Drill carefully and don't hit the plastic. Once the heads are out, the screw is essentially undone, then you can use pliers to unscrew the body from the thread. However, you'll need new screws to replace them.
QFD's are valued online as most people are unable or unwilling to build an alternative, such as the VHS: http://www.sscentral.org/homemade/vhs.html

Re: sidearms, secondaries, and back ups
Max-D 6000s are still in production, so can be obtained fairly easily. If you get one, though, you may want to reinforce th trigger area, as they are prone to breaking there.
