Toronto Shipping

Post by teamfear » Mon Jun 08, 2009 9:55 am

I am trying to buy a water gun from a guy in toronto but he will not ship to my city. Does anyone live in the toronto area that could pick it up and ship it to me if I payed the cost and shipping. I don't want to give any more details to give away what i'm buying. Please respond if you think you could pick it up from the guy and then ship it to me if I sent you the money.

Why can't he ship it to your city – would he ship it anywhere? Where do you live, regionally speaking?

What are you trying to buy? If we aren't competing for it I will do it. I mean, I don't live near Toronto, but if you can't get anyone else I will.

Its a CPS 2000. Are you looking at the same one? I might build an aph instead.

Yeah, but I am not going to spend $200 or whatever on it.

Yeah it was listed as 100. I think I may just build an aph. I would say 100 is worth it considering some ebay prices. but I am searching my community for them. I got alot of people searching for me. Its all yours.

I haven't seen a 2000 on there for $100. There is a CPS 2500 for sale for $99 though. I have been thinking about buying it but I'm really not sure. If I can fix my 2000 it wouldn't be worth it.

Yeah CPS 2000 has awesome legacy but if I can get my friend to find someone in my town with one I will get a good deal. Age wise and economically speaking I would prefer the APH but theres just something about the 2000. Maybe its amazing? :P

Were you thinking of the one off of that classified site. I forget the name but It is listed on SScentral.

The thing with the CPS 2000 is that it has a proper trigger and the pump doesn't leak. Getting a proper trigger on any homemade is particuarly difficult, and chances are that you'll have trouble getting pumps to seal properly. Plus if you're building a CPH, the tube wears out faster than on stock guns.

I know all of this but I'm sure my pockets would be happier if I made an aph.
@ Marauder 4: Are you willing to go up to Toronto? I need to wait for a reply from the seller because after he said he wouldn't ship I responded but he hasn't yet. I may still be interested if your not getting it.

You mean, would I send you the gun from here? Or did I miss the point of all this and you have to go to Toronto to pick up the gun?

Well I mean you pick up the gun from Toronto and send it to me from Toronto or bring it to my city if you are willing to. This seems like so much to ask so I am also seeing if isoaker can because he lives there and you probably live somewhere in the states.

Thanks,

I DO live in Toronto, but decline due to the fact this A) might cause disputes over product received/condition, etc, B) sounds like a scam.

Just get him to ship it. Not that hard.
