CPS 5500
Yes, I know this is a typical overly large, overly powerful mega gun that a soaker n00b would come up with, but I thought it would be fun to think about anyway. I might post my sketch, but here is a description of the CPS 5500 Ultra Cannon...
1. Onboard resovoir of 130 oz.
2. Detachable backpack resovoir with a capacity of 270 oz. (was originally 180 oz.)
3. A hose at the bottom of the backpack one can use to be a portable filling station for teamates.
4. Max infusion type, tethered cap for both the backpack and blaster.
5. Pressure aguge
6. Rubberized grip
7. Triple CPS pressure chambers with a total capacity of 90 oz.
8. Tracked pump, with a detachable handle one can put on the bottom to help in pumping, pump volume of 2.5 oz.
9. A button that activates the motorized pump, which can pump for you if your in a lazy mood or your just tired of pumping
10. A spot where the blaster acceptes the rechargable battery
11. Nozzles and selector. 2X, 5X, 10X, and 25X
12. Riot blast nozzle *gulp*
13. A trigger for the main nozzle and another trigger for the riot blast nozzle
14. A strap
Yes, a typical soaker n00bs creation, but still would be pretty fun to use

Cool. Someone should design a water gun with every feature that every water gun ever had.

So, you'd want a motorized air/CPS-based piston-optional blaster with a pulsing stream that shoots a spinning foam disc that can pivot 90 degrees left or right while making flashing lights and funky sounds using small clips or an optional backpack?!martianshark wrote:Cool. As for the CPS5500, yeah, specs are fun, but it sounds awfully heavy. As well, the backpack should hold more water than just 180oz if the blaster is already holding 130oz. I'd expect a backpack to carry more like 240oz to 260oz (the Super Soaker CPS3200 holds ~266oz).

No, I want a 5-barreled gun that shoots out of different nozzles depending on how much you pull the trigger (CPS 1-3-5), and the direction of the nozzles can be adjusted (triple shot), but it would also have nozzle selectors and duel CPS chambers (MXL), and a tripod, and QFD ports that you can insert into any QFD (water worm, speedloader, super charger, turbo chargers, storm, 1/2" PVC, etc.), and it would use clips but because of its big pressure chambers, you have to refill it 40 times before the pressure chamber is full, but you can attatch a backpack to the clip somehow, and also it would have a flood nozzle with a seperate trigger (AB/FF), but this flood nozzle is charged by a second PC that fills up and then fires a burst (Hydroblitz) and also it has a blade thingy over it that you can push down to give it awesome spray patterns (Hydroblade), plus it has a Helix integrated into it, and it has swappable reservoirs (triple charge) but you can also replace the reservoir with a canister of ooz (Oozinator), and it has another nozzle in the back that makes it shoot backwards (Backfire), and it makes goofy light and sound effects (EES), and the pump is motorized (Scorpion), and it has a little gun that's charged by the main gun that shoots balls of water.
Maybe I'll draw a picture of it.

Re: CPS 5500
That sounds like quite the blaster.
Re: CPS 5500
I agree on the backpack reservoir capacity being too low. I'd go MUCH higher, suggesting 15 or even 20 litres (500-700 oz). The weight, though heavy, would be manageable - and you can always only half-fill it.
And I can see no reason to have multiple CPS chambers over a single large one, apart from blaster shape considerations - which this clearly doesn't care about.

hahaha, you are great you guys all here! I am building up the "SUPER CPS" and at the moment I am thinking about installing some of your ideas^^
Keep going, put in all your ideas! I might build up a great thing !

I've been designing several more blasters in a notebook, so I might post some of my ideas on here.
