Re: CPS-1200 Issues
So I got it open, and it turns out the white plastic piece that connects to the trigger and the bar broke. I tried to fix it with some silicone adhesive I had lying around, but that wasn't strong enough. I was thinking some epoxy might do the trick - any thoughts or suggestions?

Re: CPS-1200 Issues
Once the screwdriver shows up tomorrow (Amazon Prime FTW) I'll see about taking some. In my struggles to get it open, a black metal wire/bar fell out. Looking at the pics on iSoaker, that's what connects the trigger to the valve, so hopefully it'll just be a matter of fitting it back in there.

Re: CPS-1200 Issues
Thanks to a hack saw and a couple flathead screwdrivers, I was able to remove the nozzle cover tonight. Then I could get to the two screws there and open it enough that the pressure could be relieved. I still can't get to the one super-deep screw near the reservoir, but I have a new screwdriver on o...

Re: CPS-1200 Issues
Any internal guides? I've taken out all the screws I can get to and the ring around the pump, but I can't open it enough to really see what's going on. I do hear something rattling around, so I'm gonna guess that's what's causing the issues.

Re: CPS-1200 Issues
Any guides out there on how to distinguish the marks? It's silver and purple, if that helps narrow it down.
Thanks for the tips!

CPS-1200 Issues
So as I posted recently, I re-acquired my old CPS-1200. I went to test it out today, only to find out the trigger doesn't seem to be working. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until after I put water in it and pressurized it. What's the best way to take apart a pressurized soaker and any tips for...

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
I got a new-old latest soaker today. My parents came across my CPS 1200 while digging through their attic. I need to make sure it still works, but I'm glad to have it back!

Drone strikes, anyone?
I'd say this could add a new aspect to water warfare, but little RC copters like that generally aren't very useful outdoors. It's still cool though!

Re: iSoak'D 080: Not Old
As one of those people aged 20-30 who lament about my age, I think the problem is as such: I'm on the part of the first generation that really had access to the Internet from childhood. So while there's a lot of us online, there's not as many people who are older than us out there. At the same time,...

Re: 2nd round - Comunity War Name vote
If you guys are going to have a battle at BrickFair you can probably count me in, and I could get a whole mess of people who would probably join us too. The only problem is that most of us probably wouldn't have blasters, since they're not soaker fans and would be traveling from out of state. I can ...

Wait, you got to BrickFair? Me too! I will totally be there this year, as I have every year in the past.scottthewaterwarrior wrote: I noticed a lot of people were saying the begining of August. I have a yearly LEGO convention to go to August 4th - 7th so I can not make it those dates!

Re: Community Summer War
Rather than reply in the other topic where you guys were bugging me I figured I should keep everything here. :P I'm not really much of a water-warrior these days, I mainly hang around the site because this was the first Internet community I ever joined and I'm a rank sentimentalist. If you guys were...

Keep in mind that's the Australian Toys 'R' Us website. Things tend to cost more down there since virtually everything is imported from a pretty far distance.

Chris Reid? Sweet! I remember that dude - he was pretty awesome.
SEAL, I believe his handle was usually something like, 'x Chris Reid x,' or something simple like that.

Re: This is outrageous!
Because if you get arrested people will care more if adults protest than if kids do. Plus, adults have the funds to hire lawyers and such. Also, when you were doing this training, I'm assuming you were carrying Soakers? Were you even shooting them at all? This all seems kind of ridiculous and prejud...
