It's interesting to note that Charley hit Florida's west coast, Frances slammed into the east, and now Ivan might roll up the peninsula from the south. Florida hasn't been very luckly lately. I think they were still cleaning up from Charley in some places when Frances hit. :goofy: Wow, 150MPH and 9...

um, 150MPH is only 5 MPH short of category 5, so this storm is still extremely strong. The pressure is still around 920-930 milibars which is very low. Anyway, despite this being the 9th named storm so far, this season isn't a spike in hurricanes, so don't be surprised at all the tropical activity....

Well Isabel reached 160MPH and cat. 5 at the height of its glory. Also, Ivan will keep strengthening, the waters over the Carribean must be around 90 degrees by now. 80 degree water stretches up to Virginia, and a hurricane only needs 81 degrees to keep growing. Yeah, Yang has an interesting topic ...

Frances hit as a Category 2 and was only moving along at 5MPH, and TD9 became Hurricane Ivan. It's interesting to look back on the predictions of an event after it happens. Anyway, Ivan could potentially move across the Carribean Islands near Puerto Rico and in the general direction of Florida. :go...

Nibordude and I discovered today that the max-d 5000 can be used to fill water balloons! Just slip the balloon over the nozzle, shoot the gun, and pump while you hold the balloon. It then inflates with water. You can get around 5 balloons per tank and can use it anywhere. This is an amazing method ...

My theoretical method of keeping this from happening is to put on a very high maximum bid on early in the auction. For example, place a $200 bid for a $20 current item. Ebay only increases the current price by a certain amount set by the seller and your maximum bid is hidden from the other bidders....

My 21K is currently still at 105 although that is absurd and there's a good chance I'll lower it after seeing the stats. As I've said before, optimal power is at 65-80 balloons, and even narrower the best power is at 75-80. I will be raising my 72 balloon 21K to 77 or so, and my 105, if i do lower ...

It really isn't that hard. Cutting out the valve takes 5 minutes, waiting for the glue to dry takes about 15. The whole proccess is very quick and if you can positively identify where to cut, there's no risk of breaking anything. Of course I'm not going to press you to do it, if you're not ready to...

What would mine be ? The pump cap is glued , It has large pronounced ridges and great power. Could there be a Mark 4? There's most likely no MK4, but just to check post some more details, like what side the sticker is on. The only problem is that many of the unique features are only found while ope...

Yeah, I knew that a modified soaker review couldn't be added, not just for variables but for safety. Someone with no modding experience would think it was cool and try it, possibly breaking their soaker or injuring themselves. Although I will be writing a few articles/reviews on stock guns, maybe t...

I can't get stats either right now. All the streets are flooding and you can't see a thing. Hopefully it will clear soon, I've got a 100 balloon extension and a 110 balloon extension planned for today. It's just that this darn storm won't let me go out and buy the balloons...... <UPDATE> This is tu...

I think you will definately get range more than 60ft., but less than 70. It might shoot around 63ft., 10 balloons more isn't really that much of a powerup. I might have been a little too critical, so congradulations for 100 balloons! <EDIT> I'm making a 100 balloon K to compare stats and I re...

Oh, and I believe that the paint job around the black nozzle module varied slightly from gun to gun. I know some guns have a orange line around the nozzle module and some are straight black. Does this have anything to do with Mks.? I'm not sure. All of my 2100's have paintjobs so I can't see the or...

I got the range. It's 71 feet, 2 inches. A RECORD!!!!! On topic: I get about 5 shots per tank with 5 pumps...

Yeah, but this is a CPS 2000 and you should not risk damaging the vital parts that make it work. Most things can be fixed, if you break the firing chamber, then you're screwed and then it is a waste of a CPS 2000 MK 1. Yes, I've never taken one apart before. I can't figure out any way to open the c...

It's hard to review a modified gun because people use varying amounts of power. This review will be based on guns with 65-90 balloons. CPS 21K-65-90 balloons Range: 50-60ft. Output: 10-15x Shots per tank: 6-17 Pumps: 5-15 Tank: 2L Weight: Light Versitility: 96% Shot time: 1-2 sec. Overall Score: 85...
