Re: iSoak'D 041: Capture the Flag - Part 2

I have never actuly played CTF with water guns (I have made a vow that this year That Will Change! ) but I do have a funny story of a CTF game. It was just a regular game (where you tag them with your hand) and we didn't make any rules on hiding the flag. There were two fallen down trees covered in ...

Re: Community Summer War

No, I wasn't meaning for us to do mostly soakfests, far from it. I would love to try other game types, I just never have before because no one else was willing to. I wouldn't complain if we did have a soakfest but being with a bunch of guys who are willing to do other stuff I'm not about to pass up ...

Re: Community Summer War

OK I've been bussy and haven't checked the site in a wile so I will be posting on multiple topics: I have relized that I might be able to make it to a war even if it's some where far away. CA99 is going in an RV and I just remembered that it might be posable to barrow my grandpa's RV and go on a roa...

Re: Tower Defense

wetmonkey442 -- The offensive team is tasked with destroying the objective located at the headquarters. One idea I had for an objective could be a moderately heavy object suspended by a foot of tissue-paper. When the tissue paper is touched by water, even lightly, the paper would tear and the objec...

Re: Project: Battle Field Maps

Defenatly wouldn't complain for some ideas of battle areas around were I live. My normal one is actuly on a members only island (guests of members are alowed though) so is rahter small. Any one got any good DC/Marland/Virgina maps of water war grounds I would love some ideas.

Re: WW Lighnings

Buzz Bee themselves have been forced to convert many of their previously Hydro Power designs to air pressure due to a patent judgement against them. These blasters almost certainly are being made with Buzz Bee's approval (otherwise Toys R Us would get sued), though perhaps not "by" Buzz Bee. And th...

Re: Community Summer War

It also helped my family, since both my mom and dad worked, I was able to drive my siblings around, buy groceries for my parents, etc. My parents actually want me to get my license so I can do all that stuff. The only reasons I don't have it yet and only have my learners is because I need to take t...

Re: Community Summer War

I think I could be around for a late agust war, would depend how late, my school pics up at the end of agust. I don't think I can travel much this year, might be able to tie in a New York war with a trip to visit relitives though, highly unlikely. Also highly unlikely but posapble would be a New Jur...

Re: Community Summer War

I am near DC. I would be willing to travel an hour away, maybe two if my dad is willing. (I will only have my provisional license by summer so he has to be in the car for me to bring others under 18 years old, which would be all of them) I could bring maybe 5 or 6 others but if you want only serious...

WW Lighnings

I just found these on the Toys R Us site http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4044785 I think they are WW Lightnings. It says they are air powered but I don't really trust Toys R Us to know the diference between air power and Hydro power. Has any one bought these before? Are they real ...

Re: $10s for 2 Max D 5000s

Wow, I will have to look into this. I don't like max D-trigers much ether but for $10! Even if I only get 2 battles out of them I'd say it is worth it. Lol, for some reason the first time I posted this it was it didn't apear here, it was in "Bla... Taxes!" Something must have screwed up with the iso...

Re: Preparations for Upcoming Season

Odd, has anyone else ever encountered a 2100 with a bad trigger design? I have, it wasn't mine though. It was some one else's I knew but it broke wile I was using it. The gun was in pretty bad shape though so it might have been that and not that it was porly made. I think the triger on mine works b...

Re: Illustration-video Super Soaker SS 300

Wow, I thought only the CPS 2000 had that range as far as unmoded stock guns go. Great video, although I think your and my music tastes are a bit different. Personally I like Weird Al Yankovic, he's a comedian song writer. You’re lucky to have these guns; I was too young for most of them when they w...

Re: Soaker with two triggers

Just the way it looks gives me the impression of cheap plastic. Especially on the pump rod, it doesn't have that gleam that most high quality plastics do. Having to triggers on a water gun could be useful in some circumstances, like if you had a double barreled blaster, you could use both or save wa...

Re: Preparations for Upcoming Season

I normaly do not do to much to prepair most years, but this year I plan to do a little bit of preparation. I want to reconfigure my load out. I'm still going to use my vindicator as my primary, it sutes me quite well, but I plan to swich my refil botles from my back pack to slings on my front for ea...

OK, I'm over it, good job you really had me! Hopefully I will remember this...

Re: iSoak'D 039: "Ultimate" Warrior

I think the Ultamate WW system has a few possable uses but not many. The only one I can really think of, and would actuly really like to have, is if you had a gun with a strap with an ultimate atachment point on the sides. Then attach two Max-D 2000 sized guns to them, this way I would have my last ...

Re: Hands-On: Super Soaker Thunderstorm

What!!! 9.17 onces, thats less than a Max-D 2000! I find the new clip system pretty useless. I've always found that the pressure chamber is the clip and when you pump it it's like your reloading. Yeash, at this point it doesn't really suprize me that the gun isn't very good.
