Whoa, that is one HUGE collection you have there Soakologist. I wish all those soakers were still available, then my armoury might have eventually turned out to be big like that. :( Problem is, if I want anything larger than a small CPS like a 2100 or 1200, I have to order from the US (I live in Au...

The strange conception that many (including me) have is that water warfare is very much like real warfare. most people don't run for cover when the enemy charges in a water war because they know water is harmless. Yes, that's true for some people. I hate it when stupid kids run in to the crossfire ...

It's true that not every single XP 70 can be completely identical, but if you are measuring nozzle sizes in ounces per second, then why say that the nozzle is 10x? 10 times the power of what? You might as well say it is a 10oz. nozzle rather than a 10x nozzle. One way that output could be measured ...

Uh.....Veteran, you wouldn't happen to be talking about your house, would you? :goofy: Otherwise, a two story fortification sounds very effective, provided that it's completely sealed so no water can get in.

I've also made a shield. Mine is made out of a rectangular sheet of cardboard with some rope handles to hold on to. I covered it in clear contact so it doesn't go weak and floppy when it's wet. :goofy:

I'd take at least 20 litres of water, which would be stored in a variety of different sized bottles from 600mL to 3L. Around 30 already filled water bombs stored in an esky, along with about 100 that aren't filled. I would also take some food, drink and a portable water bomb filler, as well as a po...

I've been wondering for a while now what the best decision to make is when one or more enemy troops charge at you. The bold, ferocious appearance of the enemy charging at you in full force will make most run for cover. But I've been wondering whether this is really the best thing to do. A good coun...

K-Modded soakers are supposed to have superior range and/or output when compared to stock soakers. People K-Mod their soakers to give them a huge boost in power and to give them a huge advantage over their stock counterparts. But what's the point in having a large CPS cannon like a 3200 or Monster ...

I think a good mixture of range and output is important. Like Veteran said, there's no point in having a 0.5x stream that shoots 70 feet. (not that 0.5x could reach 70 feet anyway) but at the same time there's not much point in having a 30x stream that goes one metre or less. Shot time is also impo...

Excelite is on the right track. According to Larami, the XP 70 is supposed to be the base soaker that everything else is rated against. So if you say that "My CPS 1200 has a 5x stream." then it's supposed to mean it's 5 times as powerful as the XP 70. The whole "Times" thing is supposed to be the o...

Recently, while browsing on isoaker.com, I noticed that he had given the XP 70's nozzle a rating of 0.9x. But the XP 70 is supposed to be the soaker that all other soakers are rated against. Like the CPS 3200 has 5x, 10x, 20x and Typhoon, and the CPS 1700 supposedly has 5x and 10x the water of the ...
