How much were you expecting to pay? SS300s are pretty rare. Lately they've been appearing on eBay perhaps even less often than CPS 2000s. You might be better off looking for a more common CPS gun. Having said that, the SS300 is an excellent gun, considering its release date.

Its a really good gun from Storm, and if I ever do see a T-Shock 18K then I'll go for it and try to get it, since the T-Shock 8K is good, then imagine what the 18K would be like when I show you what it looks like on the back of the box. It is definitely rather different from your average Storm gun....

I sadly don't have any SC500s - I'm still looking out for one for myself.

I'll contact you with further details about the SC600s.

...my SC600s are mk.2/mk.3. I'm not sure whether mk.3 officially exists, but in my book (should that be head?) it's the version of the SC600 with the blue/orange colour scheme. As far as perfomance compared to the mk.2 goes, my limited testing indicated slightly better range than the mk.2, although...

I may be missing something, but I am under the impression that although they did not do so in the past, they now do sell directly to consumers through their Hasbro Toy Shop.

UPS costs a fortune, sadly. You'd be looking at over £50 for shipping alone, I would guess.

I have a load of SC 600s you could buy, but I'm guessing you specifically wanted the 500 or 400.

Let us not be overly prejudice. Opinions are natural, but I want to see some performance reviews before accepting or writing-off a new soaker. Despite not being over-enthralled with this year's line-up, I would agree with that statement, and ask people to hold out until testing can be done. Who kno...

I think you misunderstood the point of my statement - it was that you don't need ultra-fast broadband to snipe. Admittedly, having been stuck on dial-up for years, sniping isn't so much of an option then.

16 seconds is easily enough time to manually snipe an item

Only if you have a superfast Cox 15Mbps high speed internet connection, dial-up just dosen't cut it.
I've succesfully sniped with 16 seconds or less remaining on a 256Kb connection.

I read this thread with interest - it seems a clever twist on the loo paper idea, and one which I may well experiment with myself. Congratulations on thinking up the concept!

And I'm not at all sure how not having a base is supoosed to be an advantage. Not having a base is a huge advantage. I wouldn't agree with that. I understand your point, and concede that bases are often not useful, but if they are constructed carefully and strategically they can prove to be very us...

It's hardly being n00bish to ask for international shipping. Most American sellers have been willing to ship abroad when asked: so who's the n00b? ???
