I had a 2100 in each hand today while swimming. It was pretty cool but something like 1200's would have been better with the straps. Coming from under water those guns are h-e-a-v-y with water in every nook and cranny. I've doubled up with 2700's before, each with the nozzle selector removed. Talk ...

Other, definately, and don't buy any of this year's models if you're looking for a real beast.

eBay is where I'd start shopping.

Storm 500, the little pistol? I have one and am willing to sell. It's in good shape too. Make an offer. BTW, I'm in the states.

Casually perusing eBay last night, I located an ad for a CPS 4100 containing description text copied word for word from one of my 4100 ads. I reported this to eBay, and within 12 hours, they removed the offending ad. Nice! Isoaker, I've been linking directly to your site in my ads fo...

That's certainly the exception rather than the rule however. Two years ago, the MSRP on the MaxD was $19.99. Its new retail price is $9.99. That's a great deal. The MD6K was just on sale for 50% off MSRP at season close 2003. The $2 CPS's were 2 year old 2100's stacked high at the local TRU. Upon f...

SC600 (my prefered, does this count as a sidearm?), XP110, and the Triple Shot this year looks like it would make a good one. I always carry a little Storm 500 not as a sidearm, but last resort.

Is it possible to add in some more range, possibly even to the 50ft. mark, and sacrifice power to defuse "safety" critics? No, since increased velocity at the nozzle would be required as range increased. This would be accomplished by increased air or bladder pressure and/or reducing back pressure a...

Now more than ever it is obvious that there is insufficient market for large guns. I won't trace the "fall" from the legendary Monster XL. But rather, take for instance the CPS 4100. It retailed for $30 the year it was released, and was a substantial step-down relative to the previous season as far...

Yuck! I paid $10 for an MD6K 2 years ago. Small CPS guns could be had for as little as $2 on clearance THIS year.

Last time I saw 4100's in my area was at TRU during post holiday sales. Strangely enough, they were still listed at $20. Certainly other stores would still have some, as Isoaker indicated. BTW, this was the same time I picked up all the leftover 2100 and 2700's as well. Edited By Aquarius on 111712...

I can't find any of the old CPS cannons of yore this season. Zip, zilch, nada, as is said.

Last summer, area TRU water gun displays were 3X the size they are this year, usually with more old stuff than current.

If you can't get your hands on a 4100, the FF would be my second choice. It would at least make a killer sidearm. Although pricey, 4100's may be found on eBay. Someone asked about a replacement for a MD6K. Having had one in the past, my recommendation would be the SC600. I just pulled mine out of s...

I've never tried it, but Krylon Fusion is a spray paint specifically designed for plastics. It supposedly doesn't require sanding or priming either.

Isoaker, if you're not going to use that PC again, would you mind sending me a small piece in an envelope? I'd like to find out what type of rubber it is and I don't have any guns worth disassembling at present.

Not knowing the competition going in battle, I voted CPS 3200. If I did know and the 2700 was plenty, I'd bring it instead. If someone bragged and pestered me enough beforehand, I'd bring a 2002 Monster XL and blow them to smithereens.

Just filed a non-paying bidder alert for my last brand new, sealed in the box, CPS 3200. To date I've heard nothing from the highest bidder. If it doesn't sell, make me an offer. If you want a big gun that's way more economical, I've also alot of 2700's in both color schemes. Edited By Aquarius on ...

Color-wise, I'd like to see alot of translucent combined with transparent parts. I'm talking about every piece possible, even down to a clear silicone CPS firing chamber.
