Re: Storms Duelfest’s
I did a few more battles in the last week Storm T Shock 8000 vs Speed Loader 1000 6-1 This was a huge surprise to me, I expected it to be nearly a dead heat but smooth stream and 5x greater field life allowed it to utterly destroy the Speedloader Storm T Shock 8000 vs Colossus 2 9-2. A big win as I ...

Re: Filling/Refilling Equipment
I have not ever used the original QFD but I do have a Speed Loader 1000. What I did was you’ll use a hose barb wraps in Electrical tape and so far it works well, the tape doesn’t last forever though and gets changed every few months

Re: Storms Duelfests
Pulse Master vs Gorgon 6-6 Yes the legendary Gorgon returns to duelfest after a long hiatus. The result was a really good battle, overall the Pulse Masters 5x setting felt more powerful than the stock nozzles on my Gorgon but it’s superior PC volume allowed it to have a higher RoF and push the attac...

Re: Latest Modification
My latest mod is actually quite simple, After a duelfest suggestion by Seal caused me to use my Gorgon for the first time since 2014. I put an XP 70 pump handle I had from a junk gun on to improve the ergonomics on it. Now I can pump without It ever hitting the handle on the bottom of the gun lol. I...

Re: Water guns for dog walking
Something CPS that can be nozzled down is a tough thing to find new IMHO. The only thing that fits that description is the “adventure force power raider” it’s made by Water Warriors and I’ve fiddled with one myself the shell seemed pretty durable and it holds more than enough water too. http://www.i...

Re: Duelfest 2018
Bump I know this is an older post but I’ve got more updates Storm 750 vs Colossus 2 14-9 This one was a little bit of an upset but basically they are both light enough to be highly mobile guns and the Colossus 2 has a design flaw that causes air in the shot when firing on the move hindering its effe...

Re: If you could only have 3 water guns
I’m convinced with 275 or 300 requires a lot of time to become proficient against CPS But once down they are useful primary’s.its basically that you either specialize with it or it’s at a disadvantage to the point most people wouldn’t try it. Last time I used my 275 solo against a 1000 and a 2500 I ...

I tried my friends and the trigger gets stuck open and completely empty’s the chamber frequently but the power is alright, probably about like a python 2 for power

Re: If you could only have 3 water guns
I like those choices CDMT Personally I think mine have changed a bit since I made this list. XP 150 A solid light primary able to hold its own against 1200’s if you are careful. Good for mid range defensive and close quarters fighting. XXP 275 Dark horse I know but I discovered that by running it on...

Re: Is Water Warriors Dead?
Sorry to hear about WW and after 15 years of supporting this community. It seems very unlikely that we will ever have a return to the markets golden age. I have low expectations for Drench Force having handled a few of last years products (including the BBT CPS) I doubt that any of them could even t...

I have backed them to, I expect the performance to rival a 1000 and I am hoping that it can be modified for a separate backpack instead of using the refill station every 25 shots

Re: Duelfest 2018
It’s my opinion that tactically the best way to use a 2000 is to keep a HWO like a 300, 3200 or 2700 in support range to maximize the 2000’s strength and minimize its weakness It’s the 2000’s job to land hits and it’s probably the best gun ever made for that role but it can’t skirmish very well or f...

Re: Duelfest 2018
I ran some more fights with Andy today at Adair CLASH OF THE TITANS CPS 2000 vs SS 300 6 - 7 It’s finally happened after pushing for others to test this matchup for 6 years and I have finally run it. The fight itself was was about how you would expect, the 2000 works best with hit and run attacks wh...

Re: Flash Flood?
I don't think that is a flash flood, the brand is not hasbro and the box says 2016 which is well past the end of production for the Max D Flash Flood also I see signs that it uses a pinch valve trigger.

Storms Duelfest’s
I recently bought a Storm 2500 and wanted to see how it stacks up to the "greatest" light primary ever the XP 150. So today I grabbed my friend Andy (the kid I was going to bring to the Season Opener) and ran some duels at Adair Park where Ben and I once dueled using the original duel-fest format of...
