Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
So I traded one of my CPS 1500 for two CPS 2100's... one of which is broken, and one of which works great. Thanks ritz! I've been meaning to finish repairs on the 2100 for a while, but, you know, life happens. Also, the ghetto VIllage and a Starvation Army closed down, and I have only been able to c...

Holy crap, I'm going to have to go to walmart!
Hopefully the price point is around 20$. If it sells for more than that, the masses are going to miss out on this thing. Beautiful!

Re: Cps issue
Hmm if you post some pictures that would be great. If there isn't a screw or a seam or whatnot, you can try to pry it apart but in the end you may have to make a cut. I don't know if it is glued or snapped together.

Re: Cps issue
oh yeah, the SS300 has a little flimsy spot where the handle attaches to the ball valve. The repair might get ugly. I use minus.com, but you can use any image-hosting website... like imageshack maybe? IDK. I googled "best image hosting website" five years ago and that's how I got minus.... I'm not s...

Re: Cps issue
Dude, I'm no longer sure exactly you are talking about. The PRV should be at the base of the pump and reservoir on the CPS 1000; if I recall correctly it should be the part that sits behind when you open the gun up. Saying the PRV is glued on is like saying the casing is screwed down. The entire che...

Re: i am looking for this super soaker...please help.
You know, Jak and Dexter, Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet and Clank... they are all kind of weird but kind of awesome sometimes too. YMMV depending on the exact game (read the reviews first) but you basically run around and shoot stuff with the most insane weapons imaginable. Want to use smaller enemies as...

Re: Cps issue
I agree. I had a CPS 1500 with the same problem- I ended up removing the PRV and putting a stronger spring back in. Works great now.

Re: Want to build this.
That is so cool. I mean, I could build one for around 150$ or so. Which is freaking expensive (42$ + for each 2 gallon tank!), but that is so cool.
I wanted to make one when I saw this two years ago, but I never could find the expansion tanks.

Wait so that thing is real? It's not like a tv display or painted on the wall?
Even if it's just cardboard and foam painted, it looks pretty good for a prop!

Heh, the only stands I ever made were out of cardboard. Duct tape and cardboard. Not exactly an impressive means of display.
Now if you could hang your guns using fishing line, that would be cool.

Re: CPS w/1" diameter pump
Well done! It's a fustercluck trying to get all the different little bits of CPVC adaptors together, but in the end you have a formidable beast. Yeah, you kind of need a 3/4" piece of PVC pipe to contain the LRT. This forces the rubber to expand lengthwise and *should* give it a much longer lifespan.

Re: CPS 3000 LRT mod
So it's a single-nozzle gun that looks like a stock CPS 3000 on Typhoon but hits mid 40's? Not bad at all! I'll never understand the nozzle configuration on the CPS 3000. I mean, it's fine that the largest nozzle is for the 3-way Typhoon, but then it goes 20X-5X-10X unlike practically every other su...

Re: Quick firing APH ie no slow ball valve
Wow. I like this guy, he posts good pictures and diagrams and everything! http://i.minus.com/jJQN5k1ROL0Xg.png So I have two questions. At the top of your diagram (as pictured) your o ring is floating (I edited to show this) and also there is this spring portion that I don't see the purpose of. Does...

Oh... those hand models are cool! I really like the Vanquisher one. I STILL don't have one of those yet. And I remember when there were a dozen NIB on ebay for donuts, er cronuts? 15$ each. But anyways... So after being sick for almost a week, it was time for another thriftpedition. This one took me...

Re: Max D Reinforcement
Man, those Max-D springs are strong, but small. I could never find a way to replace the spring. Fiddly mechanism, too. I would happily de-max a Flash Flood or something that you can easily, manually open/close, but on an aquapack devastator or similar? I don't know. I think the best bet would be to ...

How does it work? Seems like a neat firing mechanism. You pull the soap pump inwards, and water comes out the quick-connect right?
