^ while I'll remove sigs that are HUGE or questionable, different people like to have some freedom in how they can express themselves. Remember, one can also turn off viewing sigs in your Control Panel so if sigs annoy one or two, feel free to exercise that option.

Not trying to sound harsh, but I actually was aiming my question at Big Bee. But your input does answer some questions, iSc. Thanks.

You don't sound harsh and, as you said, I was just giving my own opinion on a potential, but not guaranteed set of forums. :goofy:

This type of topic is frowned upon since it is all too subjective. There is no "best" soaker for all situations, only preferred soakers. This thread shall be locked.

It's true that not every single XP 70 can be completely identical, but if you are measuring nozzle sizes in ounces per second, then why say that the nozzle is 10x? 10 times the power of what? You might as well say it is a 10oz. nozzle rather than a 10x nozzle. One way that output could be measured ...

AFAIK = As Far As I Know

At any rate, it's not bad for those interested, but I don't have much use for the patents and it's not like we could go around re-posting the design images online without permission so...

Would the discussion of other manufacturers on Buzz Bee's message boards be unallowed? ??? Only Big Bee, should he choose to have message boards set-up, would be able to answer that one. Based on other boards I've seen associated with particular companies/products, while discussing competitors isn'...

Really? You'd sell iSc only for over a million dollars? That's awfully high... why wouldn't you just save all of the information and rename the site? This is getting a little off-topic. To address your question, it's not just a matter of renaming the site and pushing up more-or-less the same info. ...

Thing is, you can access most patents freely off of the Patent Office site ... I have a link somewhere... the only benefit this CD provides is that they've dug a lot of the info up already.

Otherwise, they are selling what is, AFAIK, freely available to those who look.

At how much money would you sign a contract with a manufacturer? Don't tell me you'd deny them if they offered you several thousand dollars a year. You've got to have a purchase point. I'd happily help a manufacturer set up a forum elsewhere for a decent sum of money. However, to sell this board to...

Something to think about: We could volunteer to be the official Water Warriors fan community if Isc permits it and basically be free marketing for Buzz Bee Toys, spreading the word about new Water Warriors soakers to new members and others interested in water warfare. Comments? edit: 100 posts, sim...

^ I wouldn't compare blasters by my ratings, either! :goofy: However, I, personally, like the SC500 over the SC600 since my SC500's seem to have a little more punch to them. 'tis true that the SC500's pressure chamber is much smaller than an SC600's, but the SC500 just feels better built and works ...

^ from my own tests, an XP270 outperforms an XP70 (XP70: 0.93oz/sec | XP270 1.2oz/sec) As for those who can add in their own output measurements, the more available, the closer we could get an indication of the true average output of an XP70. No 'special forumlas' needed, well, not at first. First ...

No need to be confused. It is true that Super Soaker supposedly rates its nozzles against the XP70. They defined 1x as the output of an XP70. Me, when I give a nozzle rating, it is done in oz./sec. I'd rather define nozzle output in terms of measured output than believe the rating that Larami/Hasbr...

I'd have to agree that range is the key stat to bear in mind, but not exactly for just the reasons stated above. In many ways, range factors in output, nozzle thickness, available pressure... without enough output, there is no way for a stream to be able to travel a good range. As well, streams nee...

While it'd be cool if Buzz Bee Toys set up a forum, I know forums are tricky things to manage well. Video game developers often have ...
