Re: Is Water Warriors Dead?
Had a look myself at the Buzz Bee website, the water warriors section does still exist somewhat - the hand book is still there but all the product links are 404. its not possible to navigate directly to the water warriors pages but a google search got me there http://www.buzzbeetoys.com/USglobal/Wat...

CPS 215, an XP 215 overhaul
XP 215s are very impressive for their size, (i own 4) but are too limited to be useful back up weapons in most games. I had a non functional one, so i decided to to make it as potent as possible, I wasn't bothered if it was destroyed in the attempt. Phase 1 - sticking to air pressure: I replaced the...

Re: Nerf Super Soakers for 2019
my thoughts: Piranha -piston trigger style so trash for small kids. Barracuda - standard Hasbro piston blaster much the same as all the others The Hydra however is much more interesting, soakzooka has like 170mls pump volume at 12m range limited by capacity with only enough for about 10 blasts - its...

Nerf Super Soakers for 2019
Isoaker has found some images for next years Super soakers, I thought it would be worth reposing the images here: Hydra: https://i.imgur.com/2xh1Cf9.png basically a far more ergonomic soakzooka, assuming much of the internals will be identical Barracuda: https://i.imgur.com/w1V2jAH.png Piranha: http...

Youtube Video Homemade Soaker
This video came up in my recomended on YouTube. thought i would share:
Blaster is air pressure, the fast acting trigger system is fairly innovative even if performance may not be cps level. use of 3d printing in the design is also interesting.

Re: Spyra One
The second design looks far better to me: the balance on you main hand will far better it has the option to shoulder it, as a rifle making aiming easier by having some of the mass to the back the entire thing is shorter (like a bullpup rifle) making it easier to wield in close quarters also the addi...

NSS Flash Blast mod video
Found this mod video by Captain X + Nerf Curator, thought i should share. I wondered when it came out if the spring swap would be possible but the reviews where too bad for me to justify getting one to try. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD5CB3W4yFs&t=104s not sure the 40-50ft range claim is in any...

Re: light primary vs secondary
I have no experience with any of the more potent XPs but a fair amount with C2 and P2 - I have always rated the C2 as better in most peoples hands. P2 is solid but I tend to agree with Seal. the wide range of possible power (say from xp215 cps 2000) makes light medium and heavy seem relative concept...

Re: fixing a broken 1500
as it leaks from the pin you will probably need to open the firing valve and replace the inernal o-ring seal.

Re: Maintenance is essential now more than ever!
Exactly the same for the last 5 years, colossus 2 and python 2 - they are widely available eBay, amazon smiths toys ect, nothing newer has ever been sent over by buzz bee. good to have these but makes our game meta a bit stale as both are very similar, we did have the Hydro power sphynx a few years ...

Re: Maintenance is essential now more than ever!
Totally agree with everything said so far. But as well as repairing our older blasters we need to keep searching for ways to improve the best of the newer blasters such that they are as competitive as possible - most people will never be fortunate enough to own a CPS - we need to make sure new water...

Re: 2017 Water Warriors
Maybe a big piston pumper - but with a valve that actuates during or at the end of the stroke so pressure can be built before release. I'm thinking functionality like a shot-blast - but with a way bigger pump 160ml rather than 25 (stats from isoaker)

Cool, thank you did you look at both blasters? i assume the trigger valve part would be be the same in both new blasters.
