Oh! that is indeed CPS, they're pretty common in Thailand during their water festival, watch this video, it's CRAWLING with CPS:

Re: Flash Flood 2005 repair
I forgot the exact name for the component, but it's probably just the plastic cap assembly on the back of the bladder hitting the sides of the pressure chamber case. Very common with almost all cylindrical Pressure Chamber type CPS.

If I remember correctly, turning the screw in or out adjusts when the PRV activates.

I totally bet that you could remove that piece holding the firing pin in the valve with a gear puller.

Re: Latest Soaker / Water Blaster
woo! got a new 1500! It had a broken pump shaft and one off the laminator plates kept rotating sideways in the laminator assembly so I replaced them with straws and replaced the shaft with the one from my dead 1500.

Re: Power Pak Dribble Leak when shooting
It sounds like a bad o-ring. I've never really worked with an SC powerpak but you would need to remove the nozzle selector to get to the seal in question and I'm not sure how to remove it.

That seems like a perfect battery to use for this haha. When this is done it'll be like the Scorpion on steroids! I'm looking forward to seeing the updated 3D model and soon after the finished product!

Re: Next generation rubber CPS homemade water gun planning
If you are going to use the pump I found, Use a LIPO pack to power it. You'll save a ton of weight and you would get more power out of it than if you were to use lead acid.

Re: *PROPER* LRT expansion.
There is only one way to find out of this works - trial and error! Good pickup on how it's actually thinner in the little bulb. Any idea how these bladders are manufactured? It would be nice to get in on that game. But if not, well, possibly colossus would work. Go ahead and try. I believe they are...

*PROPER* LRT expansion.
Ever since I got my CPS 2000 and installed some LRT in it, it works pretty good, But it could be better. I've noticed that almost ALL stock cylinderical bladders look like this: cpsmechanism.jpg See that bulbous section near the forward end? That section is thinner than the rest of the bladder so it...

That's an interesting bladder there, it's got some kind of mesh texture. Usually they are smooth.

Possible source for electric water pumps for future electric homemade soakers
For some weird reason I've been wanting to build an ELECTRIC homemade and I think I found a pump for the task. I was on youtube when I found these Brushless DC pumps. http://www.ebay.com/itm/24V-Micro-Hot-Water-Circulation-Pump-Brushless-50C-2480S-8M-2400LPH-Submersible/301886520167?rt=nc&_soffid=50...
